Nitrogen
Auto Fill Cart
Every
nitrogen generator used in the automotive
industry would benefit from an Auto
Fill Cart. Ease of use is always a priority.
Simply
connect the nitrogen generator to the inflation/purge
cart. After the cart has been piped
to the nitrogen generator, connect the four
discharge hoses to the vehicles tires, set the
controller to the desired pressure, and start
the system. The system automatically purges
all four tires, refills them with nitrogen to
the set pressure, purges the tires again, and
then refills the tires again for the second time.
The second purge and fill will be at the set
pressure and at the purity levels desired,
Standard

Facts about
Nitrogen |
| What
is Nitrogen? |
Nitrogen is an inert gas
found in the atmosphere. It is all around you.
In fact, the air we breathe is 78% nitrogen.
|
|
| |
| Is
Nitrogen combustible? |
|
No - nitrogen is an inert gas
i.e. it does not burn and it does not aid in
combustion. It is one of the safest gases that
is freely available to us. In fact it is so
inert, the Food industry uses it for storing and
packaging of snack foods, coffee, and other food
items. It does not support combustion, and that
is the main reason why it is used in race cars
and aircraft tires.
|
|
| |
| Is
Nitrogen explosive? |
| No -
nitrogen is not explosive. It not does not burn
nor does it help combustion in any way. |
|
| |
| Are
there any side effects of using Nitrogen? |
|
No - the air we breathe is 78
% nitrogen. By having dry nitrogen, you will be
eliminating both Oxygen and moisture from your
tires.
|
|
| |
| What
are the benefits of using Nitrogen? |
Nitrogen maintains tire
pressure better
Nitrogen keeps tires 20% cooler
Nitrogen-filled tires use less fuel
Nitrogen prolongs the life of your tires
Tests have shown nitrogen to reduce tire
failures by as much as 80%
Nitrogen improves handling and performance
|
|
| |
| What
happens when tires are not properly inflated? |
The surface area of the
tire that comes in contact with the road
increases. This forces the tire to flex, it
causes more friction, thus resulting in
excessive heat generation. Over a period of
time, the rubber is affected and it starts
breaking down prematurely.
|
|
| |
| Who
uses Nitrogen? |
| |
|
The Professionals have been
using Nitrogen for a long time - Airplanes,
NASCAR, Formula 1 and Indy cars, NASA Space
shuttles and military vehicles. Now commercial
vehicles and passenger vehicles use it too.
|
|
| |
| Why
do the Professionals use Nitrogen in their tires? |
- Nitrogen maintains
consistent tire pressure over extended time
periods because oxygen in the tires
escapes much faster than nitrogen.
- It is less
affected by temperature and pressures
abnormalities.
Tires runs more cooler.
- Lack of oxygen is a
deterrent to combustion i.e. the lack the
oxygen prevents fire.
|
| |
| |
| What
are the advantages of using Nitrogen? |
Nitrogen maintains tire
pressure better
Nitrogen keeps tires 20% cooler
Nitrogen-filled tires use less fuel
Nitrogen prolongs the life of your tires
Tests have shown nitrogen to reduce tire
failures by as much as 80%
Nitrogen improves handling and performance
|
|
| |
| Does
Nitrogen improve the tire monitoring system on my
vehicle? |
|
Yes - since nitrogen
maintains better inflation in the tires, it
reduces the number of faulty states that the
tire monitoring system has to detect.
|
|
| |
| Do
I still need to check tire pressure? |
Yes. We always recommend
you to check your tires regularly. But, you will
notice that your tire pressure will be more
consistent and a periodic check will be
sufficient.
|
|
| |
| Is
Nitrogen compatible with my internal tire
balancing chemicals? |
|
Absolutely, in fact, you
couldn't find a better operating environment for
an internal tire balancing product than a tire
filled with nitrogen, due to the absence of
moisture.
